Don't you just love these little curve balls?
I don't think I am going to be able to try this month. To make a long story short, I took Ainsley to gymnastics on Saturday and was pulling myself out of the pit below the high bar when I felt a pop in my shoulder. I ignored the pain and went about my day, since my Dad and stepmother were in town and it was our 4-year wedding anniversary. It got progressively worse and by 3 am Sunday morning, I was laying on the floor in my husband's arms, riddled with horrific back and abdominal pain. A few hours later, the ER doctor told me (after I convinced him I wasn't pregnant and this wasn't an ectopic pregnancy or urinary tract infection) that I have an abdominal adhesion and most likely torn lumbar ligaments. I handle pain well, but this was worse than back labor with Ainsley. And that just plain sucked.
So, I am trying to sleep, which is impossible, taking 14 hot baths a day, because it is the only thing that seems to help the pain. They gave me Hydrocodone, but I hate it already. I am going to call my doctor tomorrow since it is still hurting so badly and see if I need to see an orthopedic doctor or a chiropractor. Can't take temps or pee on ovulation sticks, let alone have sex, when I can barely move.
I.am.miserable.
I'm so sorry! Hope you're feeling better soon. (And happy anniversary!)
